How It Works

Our service uses the TinyURL API to generate shortened links. When you provide a custom alias, we create a personalized short URL. If no alias is provided, we generate a random short URL for you.

Privacy & Terms

We respect your privacy. All URL shortening happens through your browser, and your data is stored locally on your device. We don't collect or store your personal information on our servers.

Basic URL Shortening

1. Enter your long URL in the "Original URL" field
2. Click the "Shorten URL" button
3. Copy your new shortened URL from the result box

Using Custom Aliases

1. Enter your long URL in the "Original URL" field
2. Optionally, enter your desired alias in the "Custom Alias" field
3. Click the "Shorten URL" button
4. If the alias is available, you'll get your custom shortened URL

Note: Aliases must be unique. If your chosen alias is already taken, you'll need to try a different one.

Managing Your History

Your recently shortened URLs are saved in the History section. You can:

• Copy any previously shortened URL with one click
• See both the original and shortened URLs
• Keep track of your last 10 shortened links

Note: History is stored locally in your browser and will be cleared if you clear your browser data.
